Buying at Auction

All auctions are held on Tuesdays, starting at 10am & feature live Online Bidding.

Fine Art & Antiques auctions & Collector's sales are held once every two months, consecutively.

We also hold regular sales of Decorative Items & Household Furnishings monthly.

A Buyer's Premium is charged at 20% on the hammer price of any lot, which is subject to V.A.T.         

Catalogues are published online approximately one week prior to each auction, and are also available in the saleroom: £4 for Antiques & Fine Art sales, £1.50 for Decorative & Household sales & Collector's sales.

Registration takes place in the saleroom on the morning of each sale, simply complete one of the numbered purchasers forms and take the corresponding bidding paddle to bid at the auction.

Commission/Absentee Bidding is available if you are unable to attend the sale. Either complete a form in the saleroom when viewing, or contact us to leave a maximum offer, and we can bid in the room on your behalf.

Telephone bidding is available for higher value lots in our Specialist Antiques & Collector's sales.

Sale Results are available upon request. Contact us after the auction to find out the hammer price of any lots.

Packing & Shipping services are available via Mailboxes at, or visit us in reception for contact details of local carriers.

Condition reports are available upon request.


Our Saleroom is located upstairs on the first floor, however large items of furniture may be showing downstairs in the reception area.



Selling at Auction

We accept items for sale from Monday to Saturday (excepting Tuesdays), our staff are always on hand to provide assistance with your goods.

Valuations are available on Saturday mornings from 9am-12noon, or by appointment during the week.

A visit to your property for advice on larger items of antique furniture & household goods prior to auction is available by appointment. For further information, or to discuss the sale of private collections, please contact us.

We offer a complete house clearance & collection service using a reliable local carrier, and nationwide collection services are also available.
