Buying at Auction


Auctions are held on Tuesdays, starting at 10am, twice monthly.

A Buyer's Premium is charged at 20% on the hammer price of any lot, which is subject to V.A.T.         

Catalogues are published online approximately one week prior to each auction, and are also available in the saleroom at £4 for Antiques & Fine Art sales, £1 for Decorative & Household sales & Collector's sales.

Online Bidding is available via for all auctions. Please note, there are additional charges for this service.

Registration takes place in the saleroom on the morning of each sale by completing the form & taking your bidding paddle to bid at the auction. (Please Note: our saleroom is located on the 1st Floor)

Commission/Absentee Bidding is available if you are unable to attend the sale. Click here to leave a bid online. Bidding forms are also available in the saleroom if you are attending viewing.

Telephone bidding is available for higher value lots with an estimate of at least £500.

Sale Results are available upon request. Contact us after the auction to find out the hammer price of any lots.

Packing & Shipping services are available via Mailboxes at, or ask in reception for contact details of local carriers.

Condition reports are available upon request.



Selling at Auction


Valuations are available on Saturday mornings from 9am-12noon, or by appointment during the week.

A visit to your property for free advice on the sale of house contents, private collections, larger items of antique furniture & household goods prior to auction is available by appointment. For further information, please contact us.

We offer a complete house clearance & collection service using reliable local carriers for Bath & the surrounding area, and nationwide collection services are also available.

Alternatively, send an email and attach an image of any item(s) you may wish to sell, and we will respond to advise you of their likely auction value as soon as possible.
